About the Report Card
State and federal laws require public school districts to release report cards to the public each year.
The federal Every Student Succeeds Act requires that states annually assign schools a summative designation that meaningfully differentiates school performance based on multiple performance measures. All states were offered a waiver of this requirement for school year 2020-2021 due to the impact of COVID-19.
